Nutritional Therapy

NUTRITIONAL THERAPY

Nutritional Therapy explores the therapeutic benefits that can be gained from the interaction of nutrients from food and supplements with the cells, organs and systems of the body. The aim of the nutritional therapist is to help an individual to achieve the correct balance of nutrients in order to support the body’s systems and help promote healing. The approach is tailored to the individual and recognition is given to the potential negative effects of factors other than diet; including inefficient nutrient absorption and toxin elimination, medical history, lifestyle, and physical and emotional stressors.

Many conditions can respond well to nutritional therapy, including: anxiety and stress-related problems, joint aches and pains, low energy, chronic fatigue/ME, digestive complaints, hormonal imbalances, poor immune status, and weight issues. Nutritional therapy can also be useful for anyone who feels their diet may be contributing to health issues but aren’t quite sure what changes to make.
