Mother & Baby Yoga

Mother and baby yoga classes provide an opportunity for you to regain strength and flexibility, to bond with your baby in an enjoyable activity and to connect with other Mums.

The focus of the class is a series of warm-ups and specific post-natal yoga postures. Special attention is placed on strengthening the back, abdomen and pelvic florr, as well as relieving tension in areas such as the neck and shoulders. No previous yoga experience is required.

What do the babies do?

Throughout the class you will be able to involve your baby in the movements, by holding him or her, or by having your baby close to you on your mat. The babies will also experience a short session of gentle baby yoga, allowing them to share in the benefits of the class.

The class includes:

Gentle yoga stretches for baby

yoga for you

Nursery rhymes

Relaxation for both of you

Time for discussing parenting issues

Tea and biscuits.
