Ka Huna Massage
Ka Huna Massage
Ka Huna massage is a deeply healing and beautiful form of massage to receive and is especially good for reducing stress and increasing the subtle energy know as ki, chi, or lifeforce. In Hawaiian this is termed mana.
When this energy flows freely and we are in balance we are happy, confident, vibrant and healthy. However when it is low or obstructed we can feel tight, tired or just lacking a certain joie de vivre.
The Ka Huna practitioner uses long flowing, rhythmical movements to facilitate deep relaxation of the mind and body performed to align, balance and harmonise the whole being.
On the Physical level Ka Huna moves large volumes of blood which brings fresh oxygen and nutrients to every cell and:
Relieves muscle tension especially back, neck and shoulders
Stimulates the lymphatic, circulatory and nervous systems
Cleanses toxins and wastes from every cell producing a feeling of improved health and vitality
Helps fasten recovery time from illness
On the Mental and Emotional levels Ka Huna:
Creates a healthy emotional balance for all kinds of traumas
Releases unhelpful patterns held in the subconscious mind
Strengthens relationships
Creates peace
The recipient leaves feeling light, peaceful and wonderfully relaxed.
